Turkey Burgers & Oven Wedges

30 minEasy winClassic

Juicy turkey burgers with crispy roasted potato wedges.

Ingredients

Ground turkey1 lb
Potatoes3
Lettuce1 head
Tomato1
Burger buns4-pack
Vegetable oil2 tbsp
Steps
  1. Heat the oven to 425°F. Scrub the potatoes and cut each into 8 wedges; toss with 1 tbsp vegetable oil, ½ tsp salt, and a few grinds of pepper.
  2. Spread the wedges cut-side down on a baking sheet and roast 25 minutes, flipping once at the halfway mark, until browned and crisp.
  3. While the potatoes roast, mix the turkey with ¾ tsp salt and plenty of pepper; form 4 patties slightly wider than the buns and press a dimple into each center so they don't puff.
  4. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high. Cook the patties 5 minutes per side until no pink remains in the center (165°F internal).
  5. Rest the patties 3 minutes so they stay juicy; meanwhile slice the tomato and pull off whole lettuce leaves.
  6. Toast the buns cut-side down in the still-hot skillet for about 1 minute.
  7. Stack each bun with a patty, lettuce, and tomato, and serve with the wedges.
